Summary: Office Christmas party catering in KL and Selangor runs from RM 39.90 per guest for a ten-course buffet from 80 guests, RM 69.90 from 50 guests, and RM 109.90 for the twenty-one-course Ultimate menu. Smaller teams take a delivered party set at RM 799 or RM 1,099 for 12 to 15 people. Every dish is cooked with 100% halal-certified ingredients, and supplier documentation is available for your venue or HR team.

An office Christmas party has constraints a family dinner does not. The headcount comes from a staff list rather than a guess, somebody has to raise a purchase order, the food has to suit a room where colleagues eat standing up, and the whole thing has to work inside a building with a loading bay and a lift. This guide covers what to budget, what to serve, and what to confirm before you book.

How much does an office Christmas party cost per person in KL?

Office Christmas party catering in KL and Selangor costs from RM 39.90 per guest for the Epic buffet, ten food courses and a beverage, from 80 guests. The Deluxe buffet is RM 69.90 per guest for eighteen courses from 50 guests, and the Ultimate buffet is RM 109.90 per guest for twenty-one courses from 50 guests. Prices exclude delivery and 6% SST.

Two numbers usually decide the package for a company rather than taste. The first is the minimum guest count, because a department of 40 cannot order a menu that starts at 50 however much budget it has. The second is SST and delivery, which are excluded from the per-guest figure and need to be in the quotation before finance sees it, not after.

What should an office Christmas party menu include?

An office Christmas party menu should lean on food people can eat standing with a plate in one hand. Build it from canapés that travel, one or two roasts, a seafood dish, something starchy, and a dessert table. Avoid anything that needs carving to order or goes cold badly, because a buffet line in an office runs for an hour, not fifteen minutes.

On our 2026 menus that means dishes like the Festive Artisan Duo Savoury Tartlets and Signature Whipped Ricotta Crostini to open, Golden Tuscan Herb Roasted Chicken and the Signature 8-Hour BBQ Braised Brisket as centrepieces, English Tavern Lemon-Pepper Drumettes for the people who never sit down, and a dessert spread of Tiramisu al Mascarpone, Red Velvet Cream Cheese Frosted Cake and Christmas Wonderland Mini Muffins.

Drinks are non-alcoholic throughout: the buffets include a festive beverage, either the Signature Festive Ruby Winter Punch or Chilled Winter Grape Juice. That is worth saying out loud in a mixed office, because it removes a question somebody would otherwise have to ask.

How many guests does each package need?

Match the package to the staff list, not the budget. The Deluxe and Ultimate buffets start from 50 guests and the Epic buffet from 80, because it is a bulk menu priced for volume. Below 50, a buffet is the wrong shape and a delivered party set is the right one.

  • A team of 12 to 15: one party set, delivered ready to lay out.
  • A department of 50 or more: the Deluxe buffet, nineteen items including dessert and a beverage.
  • A whole company of 80 or more: the Epic buffet, a shorter menu priced for the headcount.
  • A dinner with a programme to run: the Ultimate buffet, twenty-two items.

Can you cater an office Christmas party for a small team?

Yes. The Christmas Epic Party Set is RM 799 and the Christmas Treasure Party Set is RM 1,099, each serving 12 to 15 guests. They arrive plated and ready to put straight onto a meeting-room table, with no setup crew and no chafing dishes, which is usually what a small office actually wants.

A party set also suits the case a buffet handles badly: a team spread across two floors, or an afternoon where people come and go rather than all eating at once.

What should HR check before booking office Christmas catering?

Five things, and all five are easier to settle before a quotation than after.

  • Dietary coverage. Every dish is cooked with 100% halal-certified ingredients. If your venue or organisation needs supplier documentation on file, ask when you enquire and we will confirm what we can provide.
  • Vegetarian guests. Tell us the number rather than the percentage, so the kitchen plans portions instead of estimating them.
  • The tax and delivery line. Per-guest prices exclude delivery and 6% SST. Finance will want both in the figure they approve.
  • Building access. Loading bay, service lift, and the time window security will allow. This decides the setup slot more often than the kitchen does.
  • Final headcount date. Portions are prepared on a 1:1 ratio against the number ordered, so a staff list that firms up late costs more to fix than to confirm early.

When should a company book Christmas catering?

Book at least three days ahead as a hard minimum, and far earlier for December. The weekends before Christmas fill first, followed by the 24th and the 25th themselves. Christmas Day 2026 falls on Friday, 25 December, which makes the Thursday evening and the Friday itself the two most contested slots of the year.

Those two dates also cost more. Malaysian public holidays and holiday eves carry a 20% surcharge on the food menu plus double manpower charges, so the same menu on the 23rd is meaningfully cheaper than on the 25th. If the date is flexible, that is the single largest saving available to a corporate booking.
