Is iDo Catering halal certified?

All our meals are pork-free and prepared in our Halal-certified kitchen, using only ingredients from certified Halal suppliers.

Can I request for a food tasting?

Yes, we offer food tasting for select orders, with a charge applicable for up to 5 pax. However, if you proceed with a final order, the tasting fee will be waived. Contact us for more details!

What is the serving size of the food?

Our catering buffet’s food portions are based on a 1:1 ratio. Hence, we will only provide the right amount of food that you have ordered.

Will I get extra food or ingredients in case there are more guests arriving?

No, we do not prepare extra foods or ingredients. We will only prepare the right amount of foods that you have ordered.

Will I get plastic bags or take-away containers for leftover foods?

No, we do not provide plastic bags or take-away containers for leftover meals. To ensure the quality and safety for consumption, food should not be kept at room temperature for more than 4 hours after it has been cooked.

Can I request for vegetarian food options if I’m a vegetarian?

Yes, we do serve vegetarian meals upon request. Do contact us for more information.

What is the food consumption period?

Food is best consumed within 2 hours and 15 minutes upon delivery. Teardown will commence after this period. We will dispose of any leftovers during the teardown.

Can iDoCatering cater to special dietary requirements?

Let us know in advance and we will always do our best to help.

How many days ahead should I place my order?

Order should be placed at least 3 days before the event.

What are the operating and serving hours?

Event Operation Hours: 8:30 AM – 11:00 PM
a. Odd hour requests are available at RM25 – RM50 per manpower per hour.

Kitchen Operation Hours: 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM
b. Events requiring kitchen service outside this timeframe will incur a surcharge of RM200 – RM1000, depending on the number of pax.

We are open 7 days a week, all year round, with no off days! 🎉

Can I postpone my order?

Order postponements within 3 months of the original function date are allowed (without a guarantee of availability).
Any postponements more than 3 months, deposit will be forfeited.

Can I cancel my order after payment has been made?

Refund Policy
1. Cancellation of order on 14 days or more from the event date, customer is entitled to receive a full refund.
2. Cancellation of order within 13-8 days from the event date, customer is entitled to receive a 50% refund.
3. Cancellation of the order less than 7 days from the event date, customer is not entitled for a refund.

What about equipment rental and additional services?

What are the payment terms, schedule and processes?

1. Below RM2,500 Order (full payment): Full payment is required to confirm the order.

2. Above RM2,500 (non-refundable): RM2,500 non-refundable deposit to block the date.

3. 70% deposit 30 days before the event date: To proceed with ordering necessary ingredients.

4. Balance payment 7 days before the event date: To send the job order to the kitchen, assign supervisors, and arrange logistics.

What are your available modes of payment?

We only accept payment through online bank transfer. Please contact our Sales PIC to inquire about our flexible payment terms.

What are the charges like for Holiday and Holiday Eve?

The following rate applies to all Malaysia public holidays and holiday eves.
An additional 20% surcharge on the food menu and 2x charges for the manpower.

Can I cancel my order after payment has been made?

Will iDoCatering help clean up after the event?

Yes, our team will ensure the venue is tidy and trash-free. so you can fully enjoy your event without worrying about the cleanup.

When will the service team arrive for setup?

The service team will arrive 1-2 hours before the function starts, or earlier if needed, depending on the order.

How will I know the estimated arrival time of the service team?

The service team will WhatsApp the customer with an estimated arrival time (ETA).

What if I need an early setup?

If an early setup is required, the PIC will call the customer in advance.

Do I need to provide any documents for the setup team?

Please provide the work permit form or work order issued by the building management of the venue.

Will I receive the contact details of the supervisor before the event?

We will share the supervisor’s contact number 1-2 days before the event.
